Location was perfect for getting into the city. Close to shops for snacks on rainy days in front of the TV. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and out were easy. First place to look at when we come back!

The staff were excellent and on-site restaurant, Frankie's was very good. The railway and bus stations were within walking distance and the hotel was in the historic part of the city which we liked. We could see the Beehive and some of the other government buildings from our room. It was a bit of a walk to the waterfront, Cuba Street and the main shopping area, which we didn't mind but it could be an issue for some people, particularly as the route back to the hotel involves walking up a few hills. However, the hotel suited our needs very well and we would be happy to stay there again.

I’ve enjoyed my stays at Atura whenever I’ve had embassy appointments. The location is perfect—close to embassies, parliament, a large New World, and nice restaurants &bars. The hotel’s coffee is excellent, and while even tho the rooms are small, they’re very clean, quiet, and budget-friendly. I had peaceful and restful sleeps. The staff were lovely, especially the young lady who checked me in and out. She had great vibes and offered me a complimentary late checkout due to my flight schedule. Though I’m moving abroad soon, I’d happily stay here again if I return for work or to visit friends later : )

Arrived on a very windy day. Easy to find, Easy to walk too! able to check in early! BONUS ! Able to sit in Bar area and chat, BONUS! Order food BONUS! Staff were attentive but did NOT INTRUDE - EXTRA BONUS! Beds were very comfortable BONUS! Didn't do Breakfast as we had an earlyish plane to catch. Most impressed with the staff (made us welcome, were attentive, but didn't invade our space) and we enjoyed the time to chat. Will endeavour to book here again every time I return to Wellington.

The room was a nice size and the bed was huge and comfortable! I love how you could access Chromecast on the TV and connect your phone to the screen, made the evenings nice a cozy (big bed, big TV and ability to watch your own shows via Chromecast). The location was great for what I needed, close to Sky Stadium and the walk via the Beehive was nice. A bit further walk to get to Cuba Street and Te Papa but nothing too great. All in all, a lovely stay!

An absolutely lovely hotel. Feels very fancy, and everything was very clean and well kept and comfortable, for such an affordable price. The soundproofing was next level, to the point where we sometimes struggled to hear each other! So very nice and quiet, with nice views of wellington and the nearby forest. We stayed here and Asteria and we wish we’d stayed here the whole time instead. For a budget stay this will make you feel like you’d spent double.

Very helpful staff. Rooms very clean, though small they were well insulated against sound and weather so it was a comfortable night. Check-in and out was a breeze. Had a nice dinner at the hotel and staff were very accommodating. A quick 10 minute drive to the ferry which was very convenient.

This has been a regular stayplace for us when we visit family in Wellington. Was a bit up and down over the years but current presentation is very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit dated in layout but nicely renovated and set up. Nice touch was a $10.00 credit fir a two night stay if we did not need our room serviced. I am used to being asked to save the planet by reusing towels and feel a bit irked when I am really saving the operator the costs of laundry. Felt much better about getting something back.

Very good value for money. Couple for three nights with the breakfast package Under $500. The breakfast was amazing! Hot and cold options definitely worth getting. Staff were all polite and welcoming. Our room ended up with a view of the harbour and city good size also. Bonus for us was that there road works down the same street as hotel so parking out there front was easy to get.

The staff were friendly, helpful and informative, fresh towels were provided everyday and housekeeping was diligent in their care. A great location close to the supermarket and public transport, but also a short walk to the CBD. I cannot wait to stay at Atura again in the future, the quality, service and amenities catered to my needs as a solo traveller, hopefully next time I can try out the in-house restaurant and bar. I definitely want to try a larger room haha
